I'm Luca and like Mr. Wolf, I usually solve problems. Not quite the same kind of problems, mind you.

Curious, a bit of a perfectionist, and always ready to take complicated things and simplify them.

I like eating ice cream, asking questions no one else dares to ask, and suggesting ideas that raise an eyebrow… but then they work.

Luca developer by passion

I would have loved to be a hero, but I probably would have been one of those without powers that nobody knows, like Hindsight. So in the end I opted for what I do best: writing code.

I'm a very curious person. It was precisely curiosity that led me to tinker more and more with the computer: as a child I wondered why typing a command after C:\ would start a video game. Then I discovered that just playing wasn't enough for me.

What hooked me wasn't video games but PHP, when I started looking through phpBB code and improvising modifications. As luck would have it, it became one of the most popular languages and HTML, CSS and Javascript came automatically to complete it.

Now I'm a Full Stack Web Developer (name that makes me look really cool) and I use PHP frameworks like Laravel (which I love) and Symfony daily, always paired with Vue.js. As for CSS framework, I love Tailwind. I have an obsession with website speed: for SEO it's a significant boost and I'm quite proud of it.

Sometimes I develop apps for both Android and iOS and I'm gradually migrating to Node.js creating more and more things with Nuxt. Not to miss anything, I've also delved into graphics and marketing. This gives me a considerable boost compared to the nerd I would have been if I had only programmed, read comics and watched Big Bang Theory.

How long does a project take?

It depends a lot on the type of project and its complexity. It might take days, months or years depending on the complexity, but I'm also an MVP lover. For a simple website I can start within a week, while for a complex application it might take 2-4 weeks for analysis and architecture planning. But if it's urgent urgent urgent, with an extra gear on the budget, a good dose of luck and double coffee we do our best. ⏳

Do you work with different frameworks?

If it exists, I've probably used it. Laravel, Vue.js, React, Node.js, NativeScript... I have a framework collection like others collect trading cards. Each project is an opportunity to experiment with new technologies. 👍

Are your sites fast?

If it loads in more than 3 seconds it's probably not something I made. PageSpeed is the first bookmark in my favorites and I'm obsessed with performance. Your users won't have time to blink while the page loads. 🚀

Do you also make mobile apps?

Of course! React Native, NativeScript, Capacitor... everything needed to bring your project to iOS and Android. And if someone asks me again 'but does it work on my aunt Pina's 2009 iPhone 3GS?!?', I swear I'll start crying. 📱

If you're in Fuerteventura, the splendid Spanish island I call home, generally yes, we could make it. If you're elsewhere... it'll be a bit like playing hide and seek, but if you really want to see me live and promise ice cream as an incentive, we'll find a way. Otherwise, there's always Google Meet... convenient and calorie-free.

If it's code, APIs, databases or anything involving a computer, probably yes.

Are you a real professional?

According to the chamber of commerce yes, according to my mom too. I have 14+ years of experience and I've helped numerous companies without crashing almost anything. I'm a survivor and I incredibly still like a job my mother never understood. 🫠

How much will it cost?

You're not buying groceries, so it depends on the project, how much I like it, how much I like you. I won't start without your approval, so no worries. 💰

Do you like WordPress?

No. Not at all. 😩

Do you have a portfolio?

Yes but technically not here since I'm terrible at doing my own website and it's been under ongoing development for years (this is just a quick landing my girlfriend, who is also the marketer, has forced me to put online). Anyway I'll show you whatever you want to see, I have quite a few examples of how I like to work.
